2 Week Old Checkup

wow, am i growing fast! we visited the doctor again today and he was surprised when he saw just how much i had grown.

i am now measuring:

• 9 pounds, 4 ounces
• 21 1/2 inches long
• 36 centimeter head circumference

which means i have grown this much in the last 1 1/2 weeks:

• 1 pound, 4 ounces in weight
• 1/2 inch in length
• 13 1/2 centimeters in head circumference (basically double)

don't be scared of my head size, it's normal since the bones in my head had to squish up in order for me to be born. it should stay that way for a while.

doc says i am one healthy and strong boy with a slight case of colic (which makes for some sleepless nights - sorry mom & dad). but my jaundice has improved so mommy & daddy don't have to worry about that anymore either. we go back in another two weeks for my one month checkup...check back to see what my stats are then!
